Aquaporin is a Danish water solutions company that develops a water filtration membrane leveraging biomimetic technology and nature’s water filtration method. Its solutions offer USPs in drinking water, industrial water, food & beverage, desalination and medical devices. It was listed on the Nasdaq OMX Copenhagen Stock Exchange in 2021. Aquaporin has developed a water filter membrane, incorporating its patented Aquaporin Inside® technology, enabling high rejection rate water treatment. The Aquaporin Inside® technology uses biomimicry to engineer the naturally occurring Aquaporin protein, which is the naturally occurring water pathway within animal and plant cells.
